Now offering a new “Mini Session” package- The Bare Essentials.

I understand that boudoir is very intimidating, and also expensive. You are going to someone you don’t know, and getting half naked in front of them to get photographed. It is scary, but also very empowering.

My normal sessions usually take around 1 hour and 20 minutes for hair and makeup, and then from 2-3 hours of actual photography. This is partly on me, because I like to keep the atmosphere light and there is a lot of laughing, joking, singing, and dancing that tends to make the session run long.

I know this is not for everyone. It can be daunting to take out such a large portion of a day, even though I believe the end results and your album are more than worth it!

But I wanted to offer something for the person that is on the fence about doing a boudoir shoot. During my photography career, I have done plenty of “Mini Sessions”, although I hate that term. It is a great way to feel out a photographer, make sure you feel comfortable with them, as well as get some great photos. It usually consisted of a quick 20 minute session, running around getting the poses needed, then you just get a few digital images afterwards. I wanted to take what I know in that aspect and create something that will really fit a boudoir session.

So I went to the drawing board to come up with a package that works like a “Mini Session”, but doesn’t feel like you are getting rushed in to start putting on lingerie, and then kicked out the second the camera is turned off. This was the birth of the Bare Essentials.

What this package is is the perfect gateway into boudoir and feeling great about yourself. Priced at only $375, this is a steal in this genre. You may be thinking, so it’s still coming in, putting on lingerie for 20 minutes and getting kicked to the curb, right? No. Far from.

Booking a Bare Essentials package will entitle you to a 45 minutes to 1 hour long session, and up to 2 outfits. This does not include hair and makeup though, so you will have to come prepared with that already done beforehand. I recommend my makeup artist, Dana, who does the makeup for my full sessions as well. Prior to the shoot, we will still do a phone or video call to go over how the shoot works and the process, and also go over your outfits that you have chosen.

After the shoot, there will be a 10 day turnaround, in which then we can meet in person or through video call, and go through all the fully edited pics for you to choose from. You are then able to pick 8 full resolution photos that you will get digitally.

Even though you will not be able to upgrade to another package once the shoot starts… Once you see the final images and fall in love with yourself, which there is a very high chance you will, you would also then be able to purchase a physical album at a discounted price that could include more images.

I tried my best to make this package a great starting point into your boudoir journey. Competitively speaking, having an hour-long session, with pre planning and full professional editing of the images and getting digitals for less than $400, is just not really a thing. My goal honestly, is to have you fall so much in love with yourself, and be completely comfortable with me, that you book a full session in the future. It’s a win/win really. I don’t want there to be an excuse for you to not feel great about yourself. This experience is like no other, and gives you, and/or your partner, a visual gift showing how beautiful you truly are!
